Silver Oxide cells of the same dimensions can sometimes be substituted by this less expensive V12GA. If your application is a toy, calculator, scales or another non-precision electronic device, order this inexpensive V12GA instead of a V301 or V386.

Mercury cells of the same dimension are no longer manufactured because of their toxicity and environmental unfriendliness. Although the electrical properties are slightly different, if your requirement is to replace an MR43, you have little option but to try a V12GA in its place.
