- ✔ Consistent Shrink-Wrap – The wrap should be clean, smooth, and without wrinkles. Fake cells often have sloppy wraps or incorrect colours.
- ✔ Top Cap (Positive Terminal) – The metal top of a real NCR18650GA has three small arc-shaped indentations near the edges. Fakes may have incorrect indentations.
- Verify the Labelling & Printing
- ✔ Correct Model Name – It should be written as NCR18650GA with the correct font. If the text smudges when rubbed, it might be fake.
